Our links with Holy Trinity Church
A Partnership at the Heart of Our Community
We are proud of our strong and growing partnership with Holy Trinity Church, which has been a cornerstone of High Hurstwood for over 150 years.

Weekly Collective Worship
Every week, Holy Trinity Church leads collective worship for our whole school in our school hall ;ed by Church Youth Worker, Finn Alexander. These meaningful gatherings help our children explore Christian values, reflect on their faith, and come together as a school community.
Celebrating Together Throughout the Year
We visit Holy Trinity Church for a Church service at least once every term to mark important Christian festivals and feast days led by the Vicar. These including:
- Harvest – giving thanks for God's provision
- Remembrance – honouring those who have served
- Christmas – celebrating the birth of Jesus
- Easter – reflecting on the resurrection
- Other special services – marking key moments in the church calendar
These visits help children experience worship in a church setting and deepen their understanding of the Christian faith. The children also visit the church as part of the R.E curriculum and enjoy finding out more about the Church and its history.
Growing Our Partnership
We are actively strengthening the links between our school and church community through the Diocese of Chichester's 'Growing Partnerships' programme. This exciting initiative is helping us work even more closely together to develop and enrich the Christian community of High Hurstwood for everyone – children, families, and residents alike.
Community Activities at Holy Trinity Church
Holy Trinity Church offers wonderful opportunities for families in our village:
Friday Fun Club
A popular youth group for children in the High Hurstwood community, running fortnightly on Friday evenings. It's a great place for children to make friends, have fun, and explore their faith in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
