SEND Overview
What does SEND mean?
SEND is the abbreviation used for ‘Special Educational Needs and Disabilities’. Children are all different and make progress at different rates. They have different ways in which they learn best. We support all of our children to enable them to achieve at school. Quality first teaching is vital followed by adapting the tasks to meet the needs of all pupils. However for some children there are occasions when further additional support may be needed to help them achieve their targets.
