CHRISTIAN ETHOS
As a Church school we have a distinctive character where Christian values are promoted in all aspects of school life. We believe that our role is to educate the whole child and that the spiritual growth of our children is as important as their academic development.
We have a well-planned curriculum that embraces spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. It is through the support we give each other that we establish respect, friendship, a sense of belonging and effective team work.
Our vision and values page shows how we have developed this ethos into our vision and values, click here to access the page.
Church of England schools offer an education that is distinctively Christian. Although each church school will be unique, all church schools will share core values based on the Gospel values. Our church schools should therefore be places where loving God and loving our neighbours, is lived out in the daily life of the school.
The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers all of its pupils.

The services involves Church Schools from the region and everybody takes part in the Leavers Service by singing in the congregation or choir, reading prayers, bible readings, acting out a reading, processing with candles or with the school banner.
