Italy & Volcanoes
Benvenuto in Italia!
In Autumn terms 1 & 2 we will be going on a journey to learn about Italy. We will be considering where it is in the world, the physical geography of the country, famous cities and landmarks and Italian culture. Children will answer our big question: Which part of Italy would you most like to visit and why? We will also be studying volcanoes and earthquakes. The children will describe the properties of the Earth's layers, explain how volcanoes are formed and erupt, and explain why earthquakes occur.
