Our Big Question: What is a tradition and how are they celebrated?
In History this term, we are going to be exploring Remembrance Day, The Gunpowder Plot and the history of Christmas traditions. We will learn and ask:
- What happened on 5th November 1605?
- How do we celebrate Bonfire Night?
- Was Guy Fawkes a hero or a villain?
- What are the significant symbols that represent Remembrance Day?
- What do we remember on Remembrance Day?
- How is Christmas different for others around the world?
Leopards will also be practising their songs and rehearsing their lines for the KS1 Nativity this term.
